Toronto, ON July 7, 2019-The final event of the 2019 Mopar CSBK National motorcycle series at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park will host the “Ride With A Champion” Revs 4 Rett fundraiser on Saturday, August 10. The event will feature a ride-in to the races at the famous Grand Prix circuit at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP), as well as offer several special activities associated with the event and the charity.

Revs 4 Rett is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and their families impacted by Rett Syndrome, a rare neurodevelopmental disorder. Currently, there is no known cure. Activities associated with Revs 4 Rett include advocacy, education, awareness efforts, and fundraising to support the search for a cure.

The Revs 4 Rett team raffled a Suzuki motorcycle during last winter’s motorcycle show season in Canada with the support of the factory Suzuki Superbike racing program of top National Pro Trevor Daley. Funds raised from the raffle provided support to the Ontario Rett Syndrome Association and Rettland Foundation.

The “Ride with a Champion” event at CTMP begins with a Saturday sign-up and a Continental Breakfast at Blackstock Motorsports at 3580 Byers Road in Blackstock, not far from the race venue. From there, “Ride With A Champion” participants take a scenic motorcycle ride on their equipment to CTMP.

At noon, participants take part in a parade lap around the famed 4 kilometer-long, ten turn “old Mosport” layout, the track that hosted the Canadian Motorcycle Grand Prix in 1967 and the first Canadian Superbike race in 1978.

Among the famous Canadian ex-racers hosting the ride are George Morin, Canada’s first National Superbike Champion for Kawasaki in 1980 and Clive Ng-A-Kien, a top Grand Prix, Production and Superbike racer for Yamaha in the late 1970s and 1980s. Morin has already been inducted into the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame, and Ng-A-Kien will join the Hall during this fall’s Induction ceremony near the Toronto Airport on November 2.

“Ride With A Champion” participants will receive tickets to both days of racing for the National Championships, Saturday August 10 and Sunday August 11, along with VIP paddock parking. Attendees will have a gourmet hot lunch on Saturday, with the use of an indoor viewing area, along with Door Prizes and a Silent Auction.

The cost for the “Ride With A Champion” outing at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is $ 140 per person, with a reservation deadline of Wednesday, July 31, a week and a half prior to the event. For more information or to register email revs4rett@hotmail.com or visit the website www.revs4rett.com
